Prepare your grill for lots of outdoor
cooking!
brought to you by FlameSaver™ Propane
Tank with built-in reserve
|
- FlameSaver Hint #1: Clean
your grill after each use. Use a wire brush to scrape remaining
food particles off the grate while the grill is still warm;
if you wait until the grate has completely cooled, food
debris will have time to harden and will be more difficult
to remove.
|
- FlameSaver Hint #2: On
a regular basis, lift out the cooking grate and clean off
the barrier above the burners. If your grill uses lava rock
or ceramic briquettes, replace them if they are too heavily
encrusted with cooked-on foods. If your grill uses a metal
plate, be sure to wipe it clean of any grease or food particles.
|
- FlameSaver Hint #3: At
least once a year, perform a thorough cleaning of your entire
grill. This may require you to partially disassemble the
grill to efficiently clean each piece. Start by disconnecting
the gas, then lift each grill part out layer by layer. With
everything out of the grill, clean it completely with soapy
water and a coarse scrubbing pad.
|
- FlameSaver Hint #4: While
cleaning, be sure to inspect the burner thoroughly. Check
to make sure there is nothing in the way of the flow of
gas; a clogged burner will provide uneven heat and make
for poor grilling. If the burner can be cleaned, do so;
if not, replace it.
|
- FlameSaver Hint #5: Once
you have cleaned the entire grill, put each piece back in
and check to make sure that all connections are good. Be
sure to reattach your FlameSaver Propane Tank for optimal
grilling conditions.
|
- FlameSaver Hint #6:
Turn on and heat the grill completely before your next meal
to burn off any left over soap residue.
